What You Will Do:

- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts and components for both static and dynamic testing.

- Set up equipment and instrumentation to ensure accurate and efficient test execution.

- Collaborate closely with Test and Design Engineers to conduct high-standard tests and analyse results.

- Identify concerns during testing and propose effective solutions to improve performance.

- Assist with facility management, including maintenance, calibration, and risk assessments.

- Support the creation and review of test reports, working with engineers to resolve any outstanding issues.

What You Will Bring:

- Ideally, a City & Guilds or BTEC Level 3 qualification in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering with a recognised apprenticeship.

- Experience in vehicle or component testing environments is preferred.

- Strong understanding of vehicle disassembly, assembly, and maintenance techniques.

- Knowledge of vehicle systems with the ability to troubleshoot and fault-find effectively.

- Proficiency in using instrumentation, data analysis, and report writing tools, along with basic Excel and PowerPoint skills.

This exciting opportunity is based in Cranfield, offering a modern and well-equipped environment to support your professional growth.

Working Pattern - 5 days a week in the office- normal hours are (8:00-17:00 Mon-Thu & 8:00-13:20 Fri) this is non-negotiable with the department.
