Electronic Service Engineer

What You Will Do

• Act as the primary contact for customers, providing on-site support and technical expertise
• Diagnose and repair advanced electronic systems, down to component level
• Install and commission new instrumentation at customer sites
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics with accuracy
• Carry out planned maintenance and performance checks
• Provide advice and training to end users on system operation and upkeep
• Travel across the UK, with occasional international trips for training or specialist support

What You Will Bring

• A strong background in electronics fault-finding (ideally to component level)
• Confidence reading circuit diagrams and technical documentation
• Solid hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to travel
• A genuine curiosity about how complex systems work and how to make them better
