CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator
Location: Worcestershire
Shift Pattern: Double Day Shifts
Join a high-performance manufacturing team dedicated to precision engineering. We are currently looking for a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator to strengthen the machining department, working with advanced Struder Cylindrical/universal grinding machines to produce critical, high-tolerance parts.
What You’ll Be Doing

Set and operate CNC grinding equipment, specifically Studer cylindrical/universal grinders

Program, edit, and improve existing and new parts using Fanuc CNC controls

Manufacture complex components with precision and attention to detail

Work within a supportive engineering team, maintaining strict health & safety standards

Drive continuous improvement through participation in kaizen and safety initiatives
Role Requirements
Essential:

Strong understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding techniques

Competent in operating and setting CNC controls safely

Pipe/Vessel Fabricator

Overview:
Are you a skilled fabricator with a background in pressure pipework or vessel construction? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and adaptable individual to join a growing production team within a well-established manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out fabrication duties in line with quality standards and engineering best practices
- Safely operate tools such as oxyacetylene cutters, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment
- Undertake simple T.I.G welding tasks (non-coded)
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings with precision
- Recommend process improvements and assist in technical discussions
- Contribute to peripheral tasks including assembly and packing where needed
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards in the workplace
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in fabricating pressure pipework or vessels
- Competent in the use of fabrication tools and welding for basic applications
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings
- Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English preferred but not essential

Working Hours:
40-hour week:
