In support of a globally recognised International Aerospace and Defence Systems company that specialises in the development and supply of high-performance technology to these sectors, we are seeking a Key Account Manager - hybrid based in Germany (or based from Böblingen), who will be responsible for promoting and delivering sustainable sales growth and a successful customer relationship, as well as convincing their customers (including customers such as Rheinmetall) of their innovative electromechanical and hybrid components and systems.

Reporting to the Defence Division Manager, the role is directly responsible for overseeing the management of all related business activities conducted in the European region. This role involves Senior leadership of a multi-disciplined, matrixed team supporting our Clients' Defence Control Systems Business Unit and the Defence Sector of the Space and Defence Group.

Your tasks:

-    Inspire customers: support and develop the customer on all Levels (Eng, PM, C-Level)

-    Creativity: creation of innovative sales strategies for relating products and services

-    Proactivity: identification and promotion of growth potential

-    Forecast: creation and maintenance of sales forecasts

-    Quotations: creation of complex bids/offers with involvement of other departments

Your Profile:

AUTOMATION & PROJECTS ENGINEER REQUIRED IN SHROPSHIRE!!!

We are actively seeking an Automation & Projects Engineer to join a leading food production business in Newport (Shropshire), this job will be working day shifts Monday to Friday and the role comes with an annual salary up to £60,000 per annum (DOE).

Due to the location of the site you MUST have your own transport.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who holds a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, or an ONC/HNC in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, should you not hold these qualifications then as a bare minimum they would like someone with a Level 3 City & Guilds who has a minimum of 5 year's experience in a similar industry.

Previous experience with Siemens S7, Step 7 and Simatic would also be preferred.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and deliver projects, from small machinery modifications to full line installations, through the entire project lifecycle.
  • Implement and establish key engineering processes aligned with the company's engineering roadmap.
  • Identify and execute automation-driven site improvements and upgrades.
  • Monitor and maintain automation and electrical system software, ensuring obsolescence management and system reliability.
  • Analyse performance and maintenance data to suggest and implement improvements that drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specialists to resolve complex automation issues and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

What You Will Bring:

  • A recognised engineering qualification such as an ONC/HNC, degree, or equivalent in mechanical or electrical disciplines (minimum Level 3 C&G with relevant industry experience also considered).
  • Proven experience in a maintenance environment, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make logical decisions.

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!

We are proud to be working with a leading packaging manufacturer in Telford, Shropshire who are seeking an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team, the basic salary is paying up to £45,000 per annum working day shifts (42 hours per week), but there are other allowances and call out rotas which will boost your potential opportunities to earn more money.

The hiring manager is preferably looking for someone with a background within the Packaging, Print or Food Manufacturing sector, but they would consider people from other industries should you have the relevant experience.

We are looking for someone who has previous PLC fault finding experience (preferably with Siemens S5 or S7), PLC programming experience would be highly advantageous.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide engineering support for machinery breakdown repairs, maintenance, and development of manufacturing operations.
  • Assess, repair, maintain, and improve machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Drive forward engineering projects, from initial requirements assessment through to successful completion.
  • Deliver structured reports and solutions to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and actionable insights.
  • Support plant efficiency, safety, and product quality initiatives under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
  • Maintain engineering workshop standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective and innovative solutions.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven fault finding experience with PLCs, particularly Siemens S5 and S7 systems.
  • Familiarity with Eurotherm and Uni Drives, along with time-served expertise as an Electrical Engineer.
  • 17th Edition Electrical Installation certification or above, coupled with a BTEC or higher qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Multi-skilled proficiency in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
