Do you have previous experience from within the Food Packaging or Packaging sector, and do you have previous Slitter Operator, Slitting or Rewinder experience? If so get in touch with me today as we are actively seeking 2 Slitter Operators to joined a well established packaging manufacturer in Telford, Shropshire.
This role will be working rotating 12 hour day and night shifts (Monday to Thursday only - average of 42 hours per week), and the starting salary is £30,500 per annum, which will rise to £32,500 per annum once you are a fully trained operator.
The job also comes with 2 monthly bonuses which are based on productivity (individual and company related), and the bonus value will vary month to month.
What You Will Do:
- Operate Slitter/Rewinder machinery to meet precise quality and specification standards.
- Set up and operate Core Cutting machinery, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
- Manage Bailer and Packing machinery to ensure products are prepared to the highest standards.
- Complete production and quality-related paperwork and utilise IT systems for data capture.
- Collaborate with your team to provide support, training, and cover as needed.
