Our client is a well-established manufacturer that designs and manufactures custom products. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing NPI projects from initial concept to final customer approval, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes and assisting with delivering high-quality product output.
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyse engineering technical drawings.
- Manage NPI projects from initial concept through to delivery.
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency & cost.
- Prepare process documentation such as work instructions, set-up sheets and SOPs
- Evaluate and approve tool designs, ensuring alignment with product specifications.
- Provide technical support for production teams and troubleshooting process related issues.
Process Engineer Requirements:
- Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Proved experience in process development and project engineering within a manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in CAD software would be beneficial.
- Experience managing toolmakers and working with external suppliers would be desirable.
- Experienced in problem-solving process related issues.
- Must be a team player.

Do you have previous spot welding experience and are you seeking a new permanent job role within the Cheshire area?! If so get in touch with me today as we are recruiting 2 Spot Welders on a permanent basis for a sheet metal fabrication business based in Sandbach, Cheshire.
For the first 12 weeks you will train on day shifts (7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 12.30pm finish Friday), before moving onto a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern once trained.
During the first 12 weeks you would earn an annual salary of £26,500 per annum, but once on the rotating shift system you could earn between £29,000 - £34,200 per annum, overtime is regularly available and is paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours, this business also offers a £2,000 new starter incentive bonus which is a staggered payment (£200 after the first month, £800 once you've passed probation and the final £1,000 to be paid after 12 months service).
If you take pride in producing quality work, enjoy working with your hands, and have experience in welding operations to assemble and fabricate metal components, primarily using spot welding techniques, we’d like to hear from you.
Anyone who has previously worked as a Sheet Metal Worker, Sheet Metal Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, MIG Welder, Fabricator or Linisher would be well received.
What You Will Do:
- Operate spot welding equipment to join sheet metal and other components accurately and efficiently
- Set up and adjust welding machines to meet specifications and quality standards

2 x FABRICATOR WELDERS NEEDED IN SANDBACH (CHESHIRE)!!
Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder, Fabricator or MIG Welder Fabricator looking for a permanent job, are you happy working a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift Monday to Friday and are you able to get to Sandbach?!
We are looking for 2 experienced Fabricator Welders to join a sheet metal fabrication business in Sandbach (Cheshire).
For the first 12 weeks you will train on day shifts (7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 12.30pm finish Friday), before moving onto a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern once trained.
During the first 12 weeks you would earn an annual salary between £32,000 -£36,500 per annum (DOE), but once on the rotating shift system you could earn between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum basic, overtime is regularly available and is paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours, this business also offers a £2,000 new starter incentive bonus which is a staggered payment (£200 after the first month, £800 once you've passed probation and the final £1,000 to be paid after 12 months service).
This will be a one stage interview process, with the hiring manager keen to do first stage interviews and weld tests ASAP.
What You Will Do:
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches and other data to be used in the preparation of the product to be manufactured, carrying out dimensional inspection prior to welding.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures.
- Communicate potential risk to quality and efficiency to your team leader.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products.
- Follow safety guidelines, carry out safety checks and maintain a clean work environment.

We are looking for experienced Press Brake Operators to join a long-standing sheet metal manufacturing business in Sandbach (Cheshire), for the first 12 weeks you will be training on day shifts (7.30am - 4.30pm / 7.30am - 12.30pm Monday to Friday - 39 hours per week), but after training you will move onto a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern Monday to Friday (38 hours per week).
Whilst on day shifts you will have the OTE between £29,500 - £30,500 per annum (DOE), but once you move onto shifts your annual salary will range between £33,000 - £37,000 per annum, overtime is regularly available and is paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours, this business also offers a £2,000 new starter incentive bonus which is a staggered payment (£200 after the first month, £800 once you've passed probation and the final £1,000 to be paid after 12 months service).
The hiring manager would prefer candidates who have a vast amount of Press Brake experience, but they will consider people who have limited Press Brake experience, but please be advised that the money on offer will be lower for someone with limited experience compared to someone with a vast amount of experience.
Anyone who has operated an Amada, Trumpf, Edward Pearson or Bystronic Press Brake would be well received.
