PRODUCTION OPERATIVE NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

Do you have any previous experience working with Plastics or PVC, and are you looking for a job that can offer you some future progression and development opportunities?

We are seeking a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Halesfield area of Telford, you will be working day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week which includes an early finish on a Friday), and the job comes with a starting pay rate up to £14.00 per hour (dependant on experience). Overtime opportunities are also available and paid at T1/2 premium rate once you've completed a three-month probation.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has some experience within Plastics or PVC manufacturing, but they are prepared to look at someone who has a good manufacturing background and is keen to learn.

A Full UK Driving License is PREFERRED.

This role would be a good fit for someone who has come from the Injection Moulding / Plastics / Manufacturing industry and has previously worked as a Plastic Welder, Plastic Welding, Plastic Fabrication, PVC Moulding, PVC Trimmer, Assembly Operative or Production Worker.

Are you a Mechanically biased Assembly Operative who is seeking a new job in Telford, and do you have a Full UK Driving License?!

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a leading manufacturer in the Halesfield area of Telford, the starting pay rate is up to £13.50 per hour (DOE) and the working hours are 7am-5pm Mon-Thurs, with a 3pm finish on a Friday (45 hours per week). Overtime is also available and is paid at T1/2 once you've passed a probation period.

The hiring manager would like someone who has some experience within carpentry or joinery, or someone who has previous woodworking / band saw / nail gun experience and may have operated a CNC Wood Routing machine, or similar.

Anyone who has worked with vehicles, camper vans or commercial vehicles previously would be a great fit for this job, alternatively, anyone who has previously worked as a Panel Maker, Joiner, Carpenter, Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Technician would also be well received.

A Full UK Driving License is an ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT.

MOBILE FITTER NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an additional Mobile Fitter to join a well established vehicle conversion manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.

This role will involve you being out on the road installing after market products to vehicles across the country to an excellent standard while providing and excellent customer service, it is ESSENTIAL that you hold a Full UK Driving License.

The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is between £13.50 - £14.00 per hour (annual salary around £30K), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once you've passed a probation period, overnight stays may be required from time to time

The hiring manager is looking for someone who can demonstrate their experience with PPAP, Control Plans and FMEA's, as well as having experience with problem-solving tools and techniques (including 8D reports).

Previous experience within the welding / fabrication / sheet metal industry would be preferred (but is not essential), a CSWIP 3.0 or 3.1 certification would be highly advantageous but is also not essential.

What You Will Do:

  • Interpret and analyse engineering drawings, including GD&T, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilise basic measuring equipment, such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges, to verify product quality.
  • Apply automotive core tools such as PPAP, MSA, Control Plans, FMEA, SPC, and APQP to maintain industry standards.
  • Address customer and internal quality issues using problem-solving techniques like 8D reports.

The Role

As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the finance department while partnering with operational teams across the business.   • Leading the finance function within a busy manufacturing environment
  • Producing monthly management accounts and ensuring timely financial reporting

About You

We are looking for an experienced finance leader with a strong background in manufacturing who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and confident challenging existing ways of working.

You will have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification or equivalent
  • At least five years of Financial Controller experience within manufacturing, production or FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of stock management, standard costing and inventory control
  • Experience producing management accounts, financial reporting and leading audits
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP or finance systems
  • Excellent analytical and commercial awareness
  • The ability to communicate effectively with finance and non finance stakeholders
  • A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and motivate a finance team
