A FMCG manufacturer are seeking a Shift Engineer to cover their assembly department. This an opportunity for an apprentice trained Engineer who looking to develop their career within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Shifts- Double Days- 6am till 2pm & 2pm till 10pm. 

Salary £38,000 to £42,000 plus Benefits 

 

What You Will Do:

- Work collaboratively within a proactive maintenance team to ensure optimal performance of equipment and reduce downtime.

- Take a central role in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and continuous improvement initiatives, driving operational excellence.

- Conduct timely preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to production timelines.

- Investigate recurring faults, implement solutions, and liaise with manufacturers for equipment analysis and repair.

MACHINE OPERATORS NEEDED IN ELLESMERE PORT, CHESHIRE!!

Do you have previous Machine Operating and/or Machine Setting & Operating experience, and is your Machine Operating background from within the FMCG, Packaging, Food Manufacturing, Print or Pharmaceutical industry?!

We are helping a well established manufacturing business in Ellesmere Port to recruit 8 Machine Operators on a straight permanent basis, the starting salary is just over £34,500 per annum (with a pay review being discussed internally).

This role will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour days and nights shifts) and the working hours are 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am (2 days and 2 nights as part of your 4).

We are seeking 3 Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business in Ellesmere Port, the hiring manager is looking for someone who is Electrically biased and either holds their 18th Edition, or a minimum of a Level 3 Engineering qualification (preferably a HNC or equivalent) in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

The hiring manager is predominantly looking for someone who has come from an FMCG manufacturing environment (Food Manufacturing, Packaging, Print, Pharmaceutical or Plastics), however, they may still consider people from other industries providing you have the relevant experience within Electrical Maintenance Engineering.

This job will be working 4 on 4 off shifts (2 days and 2 nights as part of your 4 on), and the annual salary for this role is paying up to £58,000 per annum (DOE), with overtime opportunities also available.

We are looking for someone who can fault find competently on PLCs and has both Electrical & Mechanical capabilities.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.
