Legal and Compliance Officer - FTC
Based in Luton, as the Legal & Contracts (L&C) Officer on a 6-month FTC, you will work closely with the Head of L&C or another designated person to help our client navigate and manage commercial risks through their contracts, mainly in the defence and space sectors.
You will provide clear and timely legal guidance and advice to their sales, projects and functional managers as well as handle agreements with their service suppliers. You will also ensure our client remains compliant with national laws and company/Group policies, monitoring for any changes so our client can update their policies and procedures as needed. This role reports directly to the Head of L&C and you would be joining a small, friendly, and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal and Contractual Expertise: Provide legal advice and manage contracts.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal requirements and directives.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes.
- Partnerships: Structure and manage collaborations.
- Proposal Development: Handle terms for new business proposals.
- Records Management: Maintain contract records.
- Collaboration: Work with Telespazio colleagues for consistency.
- Meeting Participation: Attend key business meetings.
- Relationship Management: Maintain client and supplier relationships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in commercial legal and contracts departments reviewing / drafting of prime contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, framework agreements. Experience in downstream and upstream flow down of contractual terms in medium or/and large projects.
- Leadership: Strong relationship builder and communicator with team leadership experience.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and manage change effectively.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Integrity: Proven integrity and ability to handle pressure.
- Trust: Ability to earn respect and trust from staff and external stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in space and/or defence industries, IPR, software licensing T&Cs

Supplier Quality Engineer - Defence Sector - Permanent - Attractive – Buckinghamshire
A Supplier Quality Engineer is needed for an established supplier of engineering solutions for the defence sector. They specialise in the design, manufacture and support of control systems, and power systems for defence platforms within the safety critical and harsh environment domain.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will a self-starter and prepared to take complete ownership of all aspects of supplier quality. The Supplier Quality Engineer will have Quality Assurance experience in the defence, aerospace or automotive manufacturing industry or experience within a similar engineering environment.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will be supporting the project teams by ensuring that key suppliers deliver critical parts on time, in full and to the required quality.
Key Duties for the Supplier Quality Engineer
- Communicate and ensure suppliers understand, acknowledge, and adhere to contract specific requirements.
- Monitor supplier’s performance, recording and analysing performance data.
- Ensure suppliers abide by flowed down requirements and similarly flow these down into their supply chain.
- Other tasks may include, internal audits, quality investigations and raising non-conformances.
- Utilise 5-why or 8D investigations, creating reports or necessary quality related documents.
- Help with general and quality related improvements across the business, supporting our production/test departments.
- Ensure that key suppliers deliver critical parts on time, in full and to the required quality.
- Monitoring progress of orders and manage suppliers to ensure these are scheduled to ensure on time delivery.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks minimising delays to bring supplier production back on schedule.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to agreed processes, procedures, and controls.
- Undertake gate inspections, process witnessing and first article inspections (FAI).
- Carry out new supplier assessments, quality audits and maintaining supplier accreditation records.
- Develop supplier KPIs and metrics to monitor supplier performance, quality, and drive improvements.
- Undertake failure analysis, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5 why, 8D and Ishikawa.
- Support the QM across a range of quality, health and safety and environmental matters.
- Assist with improvement of internal inspection processes for supplier goods.
- Identify weaknesses in systems and processes and proposing improvements.
Key Skills/Experience Required for the Supplier Quality Engineer
- Quality assurance experience in a defence, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing or from a similar environment.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100 Rev D and Supplier auditor / internal auditor training would be an advantage.
- Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Experience and familiarity with machining and manufacturing practices and Experience with PFMEA is an advantage.
- Familiarity with both destructive and non-destructive inspection techniques
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies, 5S, Six Sigma etc and ideally a recognised qualification in quality management.
- A Degree or HND in an Engineering discipline or Quality Management.
- Good attention to detail, methodical and analytical with excellent communication skills.
- Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to compile and analyse data and create high quality reports.
- Good practical skills, ideally from low volume electro-mechanical production.
- Ability to interpret engineering and electrical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing GT&D.
- Knowledge of defence and technical standards and requirements.
- Ability to propose viable technical and production solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions and set own priorities in a dynamic business environment.
- A self-starter with effective time management skills and ability to work with high level of autonomy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse defects and implement long-term quality improvements.
- Ability to take initiative, by being creative and developing improvement ideas.

Inside Sales Manager - Motorcycles - North America
Our client is a globally recognised motorcycle brand with real heritage in the UK and internationally. In supporting and further developing their active position within the North America motorcycle sector, we are seeking a NEW Inside Sales Manager who will be part of the International Business team (America) within this Global Commercial Organisation.
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing and improving the performance of a portfolio of lower-potential dealers through remote engagement (phone, email, video calls and webinars). The role drives sales of motorcycles, apparel and accessories; enforcing the organisations policies and operational standards and ensures seamless integration with the apparel & GMA teams as well as aftersales and marketing to deliver consistent dealer execution and target attainment. This position focuses on coaching, program adoption, order/forecast support, and performance reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dealer portfolio management:
o Own a defined portfolio of lower-potential dealerships, act as the primary OEM contact for sales, apparel & accessories performance.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer owners, GMs and sales leads via scheduled calls, email outreach, and virtual workshops.
- Sales target delivery & growth
o Drive achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets across motorcycles, apparel and accessories for assigned dealers.
o Create tailored action plans (forecasting, merchandising, promotions, lead management) and track progress through reporting tools.
o Ensure proper credit limit (floorplan) for healthy operations.
- Virtual coaching & capability building
o Lead recurring virtual coaching sessions, product training, sales process refreshers, and role-play webinars to raise dealer selling effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
o Provide on-demand support for quoting, upsell strategies (accessories/apparel), and promotions execution.
- Program adoption & compliance
o Ensure dealers adhere to OEM policies, MAP policy, dealer environment standards, warranty/after-sales procedures and reporting requirements. Escalate non-compliance to Head of Sales.
- Cross-functional coordination
o Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, National Sales Manager, Apparel & GMA managers, After-Sales and Marketing to align initiatives.
- Performance reporting & insights
o Maintain weekly/monthly dashboards showing dealer sales vs target, conversion metrics, inventory & accessory sales rates; recommend/implement/follow-up corrective actions.
o Use data to prioritize interventions and present results to the Head of Sales.
- Dealer onboarding & development
o Support onboarding of new dealers (first 90-day plans), including basic systems setup, processes, and initial product/apparel merchandising inventory.
This internally focused role is essential to support our client's continuing growth of sales in North America for all their ranges of motorcycles, accessories and aftersales activities.
With a suitable Degree or Masters in, marketing or relating business/technical field; you will have/should be:
- Over 2-years' experience within a similar role and market - ideally automotive/motorcycles.
- Have a good understanding of the target audiences and customer behaviour / market demands.
- Where possible have a passion for motorcycling and experience of working with similar product/market groups.

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering complex projects in the energy sector. This role focuses on Super Grid Transformer projects (132kV–400kV), covering design, build, supply, installation, and commissioning. Direct experience with leading transformer manufacturers and delivery for major UK Distribution Network Operators is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead transformer design, installation, testing, and commissioning projects, prioritizing safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Oversee design reviews, securing client/consultant approvals in line with project schedules.

Ensure compliance with HSE/CDM regulations and embed robust risk and quality management practices. Ensure Transportation, Installation, and Commissioning RAMS are developed, reviewed, submitted, and accepted.
