What You Will Do

In this inspection‑driven role, you will be responsible for ensuring every component meets the highest levels of quality and compliance:

  • Perform detailed goods-in and goods-out inspections, verifying all incoming and outgoing parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct patrol and batch inspections across the production environment to maintain continuous oversight of quality performance.
  • Execute core quality control activities, including measurement, visual inspection, documentation review, and verification of manufacturing processes.
  • Record and maintain traceability data, ensuring full and accurate documentation for audit readiness and product quality history.
  • Report inspection results clearly and promptly, collaborating with production teams to address issues swiftly.
  • Identify, escalate, and document non-conformances, including raising NCRs and segregating non-compliant materials to prevent workflow disruption.
  • Support process audits and final product approvals, ensuring all products are fully compliant before release.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, quality control principles, and practical inspection techniques.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting, documentation, and data analysis.
  • Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations relevant to a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality compliance reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Essential

  • ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (or qualified by experience).
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Experience managing a client portfolio within a mid or large accountancy firm.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, statutory accounts preparation, and financial reporting.
  • Proven people management or team leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client deadlines and competing priorities.

We are recruiting for a commercially minded Finance & Commercial Manager to take ownership of both the financial management and commercial performance of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities
