As a Field Evaluation Unit (FEU) Vehicle Technician, you’ll be part of an innovative team within the Industrial Operations Programme Delivery organisation, where cutting-edge technology meets real-world application. What You Will Do:
• Complete inspection and preparation tasks for prototype vehicles, ensuring they are ready for user evaluation.
• Perform electrical and mechanical rectifications, maintenance, and updates on pre-production vehicles.
• Investigate root causes of issues raised during evaluations, collaborating with engineering and launch teams.
• Accurately identify and describe build and quality issues during inspections and assessments.
• Diagnose faults, trace issues, and validate resolutions using your expertise in vehicle systems and diagnostics.
• Follow detailed working instructions and adhere to workshop safety procedures at all times.
What You Will Bring:
• A recognised Level 3 qualification or apprenticeship in Automotive Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle assembly, servicing, and maintenance.
• Experience in interpreting harness drawings and working with PHEV/MHEV/BEV systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, including computer-based equipment and electrical systems.
• A customer-focused approach, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working a rotating 12‑hour Panama shift pattern, you’ll be responsible for setting, optimising and supporting injection moulding processes to ensure safe, efficient production of high‑quality plastic components.

The Role:
As an Injection Moulding Setter, you will be responsible for ensuring machinery and processes are set up and running at optimum performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting and operating injection moulding machines to production standards
- Optimising moulding processes to maximise efficiency and product quality
- Troubleshooting machine, tooling and process issues to minimise downtime
- Adjusting machine parameters including temperature, pressure and speed
- Carrying out routine quality checks to ensure parts meet specification
- Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of moulds and equipment
- Supporting new product development and mould trials
- Working closely with maintenance and engineering teams
- Accurately recording process settings, production runs and tool changes
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
About You:
You’re an experienced Injection Moulding Setter who enjoys working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high‑quality components.
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience in injection moulding
- Hands‑on experience with Demag, Arburg, Krauss Maffei and/or Billion machines
- Strong knowledge of moulding processes, setup and fault finding
- Understanding of plastics materials, drying requirements and process parameters
- Experience working with hot runner systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
Experience with robotics and automation is desirable but not essential.

My client is seeking a skilled Metrology Engineer to support dimensional control, measurement systems, and continuous improvement within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment using CMM and GOM. Metrology Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Program and maintain CMM (Calypso) and GOM (blue light scanning) systems
- Perform dimensional analysis and support production & NPI activities
- Lead measurement system validation (MSA) and dimensional reviews
- Apply Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle and structured problem-solving techniques
- Analyse data using advanced Excel and SPC/Minitab to improve process capability
- Support APQP/PPAP activities and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement across metrology and wider operations
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing / automotive environment
- Strong understanding of GD&T and CMM programming or GOM
- Knowledge of Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA)
- Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Familiarity with IATF 16949
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
Desirable
- Degree in Engineering or related field
