What You Will Do:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Laser & Brake Press Supervisor to join our Sheet Metal Department. This role is ideal for an experienced supervisor with a strong background in leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set weekly plans and targets to ensure the team meets required daily output.
- Monitor and report daily on internal part supply and the smooth operation of the CNC brake press, fibre optic laser and robotic system
- Oversee and control departmental budgets effectively.
- Manage risk assessments, staff training plans, and SDQCP activities.
- Maintain and uphold high-quality standards to ensure machines are completed to the highest specifications.
- Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure smooth machine flow to internal and external customers.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, keeping all department information current and accessible to staff.
- Promote a positive workplace culture, encouraging staff participation in health and safety improvements and Kaizen initiatives.
Role Requirements:

We are currently working with a leading engineering business who are currently seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their established production team based in Worcestershire. The Role:
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will play a key role in the fabrication of components in accordance with industry best practices and internal quality standards.
Duties will include:
- TIG welding of stainless steel sheet materials
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes and guillotines
- Participating in assembly, packing, and other related tasks as needed
- Ensuring equipment is maintained and working areas remain safe and tidy
- Supporting continuous improvement in processes and equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a stainless steel sheet metal fabricator
- Proficiency in TIG welding (non-coded acceptable)
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Competence using press brakes, guillotines, and other metal fabrication tools
- A flexible, proactive, and safety-conscious approach
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- GCSE Grade C/4 or higher in Maths and English is preferred but not essential

Outline
The role is based in Bedhampton working for an established Engineering company to support current onsite projects. The site operates various test rigs and ancillary equipment and require support in decommissioning a machine and carrying out preventive maintenance on other equipment on site.
Duties
- Strip test rigs, mainly mechanical equipment but there will be some cables to remove as well
- Removing motors and pumps
- Following preventive maintenance schedule on active equipment
- Carrying out and recording machine checks
- Monitoring fluid levels ensuring filters are replaced in line with schedule
- Basic electrical work, identifying and diagnosing electrical component failure
Experience
- Qualified mechanically and / or electrically
- Technical background in manufacturing or production environment
- Mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills
