In support of an internationally focused company and to further the growth in for the territory South of Birmingham for the supply of specialist adhesive, tapes, laminate and film based products across a range of sectors, we are seeking a focused and ambitious Sales Manager.
Very open to developing the right candidate who has an existing business development/sales exposure with a technical bias, the Sales Manager South will:
- Maintain and develop the business with existing customers
- Actively find and develop new opportunities and customers
- Designing and implementing a strategic business plan in consultation with HQ that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the UK market
- Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
- Attend trade meetings and Industry conventions
- Develop International accounts in co-operation with the International Sales Development Manager
- Timely reporting to HQ
Requirements for this role includes:
- Higher education of business or technical specialization
- Have min. 5-years business (preferably selling) experience and market understanding in B2B environment in preferred customers segments (electronics, industrial, automotive)
- Experience in self-adhesive tape, die-cutting business is a plus
- Experience in international business environment is a plus
- Ability and interest to learn our products & services (features, advantages, benefits) on a level required to support new and existing account management
- Strongly self-motivated personality
- Open for learning and development
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills in order to present detailed, complex information in a clear, systematic way

Main Purpose of the Job
We have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Support Administrator to provide full administrative support, communicating all relevant information to the consultancy team, to meet and satisfy the demands of clients, candidates and consultants effectively and efficiently.

As a Sales Support Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Assist and administer the recruitment process, assisting consultants to develop their assigned area of specialism, responsibility and help maximise candidate and client interaction.
- A focal point for the office sales and marketing activities.
- Collating geographic and demographic market research for consultants relating to areas of specialisms.
- Liaising with external PR company and internal marketing team.
- Taking leadership on all our social media and AI platforms for the Edgmond Office.
- Prioritise and carry out routine administration tasks and activities, including preparation of candidate and client reports, emails and consultant KPIs.
- Promptly processing and introducing marketable candidates to consultants.
- Provide administration support for clients and assist in developing and building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Produce statistics and information on activities, utilising Excel and Word.
- Work as a team member and contribute to team ethos through effective internal communication.

Our client is a global manufacturer of capital machine tool equipment and with continued growth in their UK and European markets, they are seeking an Area Sales Manager to ideally continue their activity in the South and Southwest of the UK.
Working alongside an existing and established sales organisation, this position is to further develop existing relationships and identify new machine tool business sales within their market areas. You will be responsible for selling a market leading portfolio of CNC machines across a defined geography, maximising the significant potential of their brand in the market. This is a consultative solution sales role which is completed from a home base but works closely with the UK HQ near the Midlands.
As an Area Sales Manager, reporting to the General Sales Manager - South, you will do this by:
- Developing business relationships through a sales engineering activity focussing on people who use and purchase CNC Machine Tools. Typically, you are selling a value proposition and it is important to sell the right proposition to the right person in the account. Target market sectors include aerospace, automotive, medical, oil & gas and sub-contract/industrial.
- As well as identifying new customers through 'cold calling' activities, you will also complete account management and business development activities targeting and developing end users
- Preparing documentation for order processing

- Defining the correct manufacturing solution to meet the customer's demands

The successful candidate will be a proven sales professional with a relevant University degree in mechanical engineering (An initial technical training in mechanics or physical measurements will enable you to understand our products more quickly).
Extensive experience in sales and marketing management, ideally having similar product and application exposure.
Strong experience of managing external and internal customer relationships is a pre-requisite for success in this role. Furthermore, a proven track record in delivering good business results in a technical environment, selling high added value solutions to your customers.
Able to nurture and manage existing reseller relationships to maximise opportunities with exclusive partners and realising the huge potential with OEMs and key accounts.
