A Controls Engineer opportunity has become available for one of the world's leading technology companies for development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support process for powertrain control requirements development.
  • Design, simulate, implement, debug, test and research control and estimation algorithms for various electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems in powertrain systems.
  • Engage with suppliers and other stake holders to review hardware and software attributes.
  • Develop the Software and Controls for the electrified powertrain.

To apply for this position you should have some of the following:

  • Engineering/Science Degree (or equivalent).
  • Automotive engineering knowledge/experience in design and validation for electrified powertrain systems.
  • Experience of automotive control systems software development, data logging and calibration tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication protocols CANFD, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet.

As a Senior Financial Controller, your key responsibility would be to research, identify, design, deploy, document and train the business processes in the scope of Order Management in a sustainable and quantifiable way to address the business growth agenda. Position Description:
A Senior IDT Programme Manager and integral member of the IDT Transformation office team, responsible for managing and monitoring complex transformation programmes in a large portfolio containing over 500 initiatives, with a strategic mindset and ability to challenge priorities, design and implement effective programme governance and bring best-in-class methods and techniques to guarantee delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Position Description:

The Trading Division Imports function enables the business to import Chinese & Indian produced components for use in the UK and European manufacturing facilities.

As an Imports Outbound Analyst, you’ll be the daily point of contact for the manufacturing plants, ensuring all plant deliverables are managed and parts are shipped on time, in full and within targets.

The role will also involve supporting the contract management of service providers. This is a customer-facing role primarily responsible for managing the relationship with TD Imports customers. The outbound team oversees the operations process and is critical to facilitating a seamless handoff of customer demand through the E2E process as enabler to an efficient outbound process through accurate control and data alignment. The positions requires knowledge of both inbound, outbound, customer and central TD processes and a large degree of interaction with all teams in both daily operations.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Complete shipping and SAP tasks required to achieve 100% on time and in full delivery of parts supply to all 12 UK & EU customers.
  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to schedule releases, shipping and export standards Monitor/ Control and Reporting of parts stocks and shipping status in line with Schedule parameters - Time and Quality and escalate issues transparently where appropriate
  • Work on the Pre-production volume requirements and parts run-outs, including management of New Parts for Model Year and Running Change requirements
  • Work closely with 3PL to resolve any supply issues Help resolve any change requests required to SAP systems to optimise the processes
  • Maintain contact with customers and freight forwarders, optimising trailer utilisation and monitoring dock adherence
  • Resolve SAP IDOCs failures related to Operations issues
  • Support the Outbound premium freight process Liaison with cross-functional teams to ensure the stock levels are maintained at the correct level to maintain production when parts issues are identified
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

  • Previous experience in Material Planning / Logistics, preferably from within Motor Manufacturing / FMCG or Supply Base Industry
