What You Will Do:

 

- Provide breakdown, preventative maintenance services, and software upgrades to retail weighing and food preparation equipment at customer sites. - Install weighing and food preparation equipment at retail outlets, supermarkets, and independent businesses. - Maintain accurate records, including time sheets and stock management, ensuring compliance with company policies. - Operate mobile phone and laptop systems effectively to support your work and meet service level agreements. - Identify and generate new business opportunities while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. - Deliver basic customer training on-site when required, ensuring clients get the most out of their equipment.

 

What You Will Bring:

 

- Basic electronic hardware and PC software skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. - A proactive and organised approach to managing spare part stock and maintaining accurate records. - Strong communication skills to provide excellent customer service and identify new business opportunities. - Flexibility and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland and occasionally to the Republic of Ireland. - A commitment to adhering to health and safety standards and company policies at all times.

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager for a leading FMCG business in Telford, the hiring manager is looking for someone who holds either a Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, and has a minimum of 5 year's Manufacturing Management/CI Management experience.

We are looking for someone who lives within a 30 mile radius of Telford, Shropshire, this role is working day shifts Monday to Friday (8am - 4pm), and the role comes with an attractive salary (which will be discussed at the application stage).

We are looking for someone who has come from the Food Manufacturing, Packaging, Print or FMCG sector.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of Shift Managers and CI (Continuous Improvement) Managers to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of efficiency and quality.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, embedding lean manufacturing tools and techniques into daily operations.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, promoting a safety-first culture at all times.
  • Manage cost controls, including waste reduction, labour costs, and material usage, to meet financial objectives.
  • Implement and maintain robust production processes, including Run to Standards philosophy and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives to upskill your team and enhance overall operational performance.

A capital equipment machinery manufacturer, supplier new technology into the food industry are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering team on a short term contract. Working within the engineering team you will help build machines, visit sites on setting up machinery and running data. 

Initial three month contract, could be longer.

What You Will Do:

- Operate and set up a mobile chemical production system at various customer sites across the UK.

- Assist with cleaning trials, ensuring all engineering equipment is packed, transported, and set up efficiently.

- Use power tools and assemble plastic pipes (solvent weld) as required.

- Monitor equipment, take readings, and log data using a laptop.

- Represent the company professionally on customer sites, providing excellent service and addressing any engineering-related tasks.

- Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for site-specific requirements, with training provided if necessary.

 

What You Will Bring:

 

- Strong practical engineering skills, with experience in pipe fitting and using hand tools.

- A full UK driving licence and the ability to transport equipment using a long-wheelbase van.

- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the ability to follow operation manuals.
