What You Will Do:
- Assemble, integrate, and test military vehicles in line with manufacturing instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
- Conduct basic tests and fault-finding to confirm the integrity of vehicle systems, sub-systems, and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand requirements and carry out tasks with precision.
- Complete technical reports and assist the Quality department as needed.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and organised working area, adhering to 5S principles and production schedules.
- Perform crane operations and lifting tasks following safe working practices and instructions.
- Support logistics operations, including the movement, delivery, and inspection of parts and consumables.
What You Will Bring:
- A Level 3 qualification in an engineering or manufacturing discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven assembly experience within a mechanical engineering or production environment, ideally in a similar industry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

What You Will Do:

- Visual Inspection: Inspect parts prior to fitting, identifying issues and escalating them as appropriate.
- Transferring Information: Fit parts to a vehicle following Manufacturing instructions.
- Multi-tasking: Work across different assembly cells, not just confined to one area.
- Vehicle Preparation: Remove base vehicle equipment, grind and sand internal surfaces of the vehicle using hand-held tools.
- Integration: Fit/integrate new parts/equipment to military vehicles, ensuring quality.
- Sub Assembly: Assemble a range of parts within tight timescales for the production line.
What You Will Bring:
- An affinity for and understanding of vehicles, ideally military vehicles.
- Capability of reading and interpreting design drawings and adhering to manufacturing instructions.
- Basic vehicle service skills with a focus on safety standards and situational safety awareness.

Job Purpose: Systems Engineering - Process and Governance
Senior Systems Engineer are required for an international Defence and Weapons Systems Company that is expanding their team. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available for these positions. Salary and Seniority will depend on skills and experience. The Senior Systems Engineer will be part of the delivery team within the organisation and the Senior Systems Engineer will be working to provide specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in the development of engineering processes.
Relocation support packages are available for the Senior Systems Engineer subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Engineer - (Process and Governance)
- Identify the need for, develop, communicate, and maintain processes supporting the entire engineering lifecycle.
- Understand and articulate the impact of their processes on other areas of the functional and wider business. Along with Understanding and articulating the role of governance within and beyond Engineering.
- Ensure design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the correct tools and documentation and has been endorsed by the appropriate level of authority.
- Support the development of estimates for the scope of work and resources required to deliver it in order to support bids, proposal development and project planning activities from a process and governance perspective.
