What You Will Do:
• Support the development and implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies in collaboration with senior management
• Ensure full compliance with all local, national, and international HSE regulations, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
• Manage and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS) to meet ISO 14001 certification requirements
• Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments, ensuring all activities align with company and legal sustainability commitments
• Deliver HSE training and awareness initiatives across all levels of the organisation
• Investigate workplace incidents and environmental non-conformities, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in environmental performance and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
• Support energy management initiatives and contribute to energy efficiency improvements (experience with ISO 50001 is beneficial)
What You Will Bring:
• Significant HSE management experience in a complex, high-risk manufacturing environment
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualifications (environmental or energy-related certifications are a plus)
• Experience managing and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
• Knowledge or exposure to ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems is beneficial
• Strong understanding of HSE legislation, environmental compliance, and sustainability practices
• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities

Sales Engineer - Composites
Following continued growth across a range of industries for the supply of their specialist materials, release agents and autoclaves/equipment for use in composites manufacturing, we are seeking a NEW Sales Engineer to specifically target further growth across a range of sectors including aerospace, defence and power generation sectors as well as explore other opportunities in other industries. This role would suit an existing sales professional or an engineer experienced in the use of composites.
Working from a hybrid or office based position in England, the Sales Engineer will 'go to market' and target these sectors on a consultative, solution sales basis. Supported by your existing knowledge of these sectors, this role will work closely within these markets to develop longer-term relationship as well as deliver strategic success.
Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager and working alongside an existing commercial and product team, the role will have the following job responsibilities:
- Target and expand strategic sales activities within the UK market, focusing on composites in industry - this will include some key account management, but is primarily targeted on new business growth
- Promote advanced solutions tailored for aerospace, defence and power generation sectors - as well as others as encountered
- Complete bids and quotations alongside the commercial team
- Support negotiations for contracts, pricing strategies and terms of agreements alongside the commercial team
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including senior management, technical, R&D, and back-office departments
- Represent the company at sector specific trade fairs and events, actively participating in marketing initiatives and growth strategies
- Education:
Ideally to have an engineering or similar degree, or technical certificate or similar in a related technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Composites, Materials, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering).
Industry-Specific Experience:
- Have experience in Sales and Business Development, OR, be an experienced engineer where possible with similar materials/composites awareness
- Have a background in Key Account Management, building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
- Industry expertise in the specific sectors (e.g., composites, automotive, aerospace, electronics, or machinery)
- Be focused on sales growth
Technical Knowledge:
- Be able to understand and discuss the Product or Service being sold, including its technical specifications, advantages, and applications
- Be able to translate technical features into business benefits for customers
- Have familiarity with industry standards and regulations that apply to the product
