Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Abingdon, Oxford - Up to £40k per annum plus benefits

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you'll be stepping into an environment that thrives on collaboration, precision, and a commitment to excellence. What You Will Do:

  • Manage the site spares strategy, ensuring the correct spares are available when needed.
  • Build and maintain a network of contractors, ensuring all work adheres to RAMS and PTW processes.
  • Schedule and communicate planned maintenance to minimise disruption to the facility.
  • Take responsibility for the maintenance of building infrastructure, including specialist dry-room and HVAC systems.
  • Oversee logistics management, including goods-in procedures, stock control, and the operation of the warehouse and workshop areas.
  • Carry out small electrical and plumbing repairs, ensuring a smooth-running facility.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
  • Qualifications enabling you to undertake small electrical and plumbing jobs confidently.
  • Familiarity with contractor management and safety processes, including risk assessments and permits to work.
