As an IoT Embedded Software Engineer you will be designing and developing reliable, secure software for connected devices. The role focuses on embedded systems, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and cloud integration to ensure devices can be managed, updated, and secured remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software (mainly in C/C++) for high-performance devices
- Design and implement secure OTA update systems (client/server agents, encryption, signing)
- Integrate devices with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT) for management and updates
- Implement secure communication protocols (TLS, HTTPS, MQTT)
- Manage firmware/software distribution via artifact repositories
- Troubleshoot embedded and OTA-related issues
- Collaborate with teams and document designs and processes
Core Requirements
- 3+ years of embedded C/C++ development experience
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems (ARM microcontrollers, bootloaders, firmware updates)
- Experience with Linux or RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, QNX)
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTPS)
- Knowledge of security concepts (PKI, encryption, certificates)
- Familiarity with MISRA standards and development toolchains

What You’ll Be Doing
In this varied and hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering complete electrical and electronic system design for complex machinery:
- Designing and developing LV and HV electrical circuits for bespoke vehicle systems
- Creating 2D schematics and harness drawings, while supporting 3D CAD harness routing
- Specifying and integrating electrical components including ECUs, sensors, switches, lighting and control modules
- Managing suppliers for prototype harness manufacture, routing and build support
- Commissioning, testing and fault‑finding electrical systems on vehicles
- Ensuring designs meet global compliance standards and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
What You'll Bring
We’re looking for an engineer with strong practical and design experience in vehicle electrical systems:
- Proven use of Zuken, CATIA, AutoCAD, or similar EDS/ECAD tools
- Experience in agricultural machinery, off‑highway equipment, construction machinery, heavy vehicles, or automotive electrical architecture
- Knowledge of NPI processes, supplier management, and engineering sign‑off (including DVP)
- Excellent problem-solving ability and confidence working across global teams
- A proactive, self‑starting attitude with the ability to lead your own projects
- Candidates who have previously worked as an electrical design engineer, EDS Engineer, Harness Design.

What you’ll be doing

This is a warm-lead role — no cold calling — but it requires strong commercial awareness and the ability to convert opportunity into revenue.
The Role
This position focuses entirely on managing and converting warm inbound leads. You will be speaking to farmers and livestock professionals who have already expressed interest, so your ability to listen, ask the right questions, and guide the conversation consultatively is key.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and converting a consistent flow of warm inbound enquiries
- Taking a consultative approach to understand each customer’s farm operation and needs
- Advising on appropriate solutions based on practical agricultural knowledge
- Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Building long-term relationships to maximise retention and customer value
