What You Will Do:

  • Assist the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager in managing the EHS Management System across site.
  • Conduct proactive and reactive EHS inspections, audits, and Gembas to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and oversee accident and incident investigations, reporting findings to the EHS Manager and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain and improve the risk assessment system and CoSHH management programme to ensure legal compliance.
  • Develop and deliver engaging EHS training programmes and conduct internal audits as per the audit schedule.
  • Support the company's environmental and sustainability initiatives, contributing to its long-term goals and accreditations.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualified and looking to develop a career within Health & Safety.
  • Experience in working within an audit environment and a proven ability to manage EHS systems effectively.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.

  • Utilise CMMS system for spare parts management, job logging, and completion.

What You Will Bring:

  • An advanced Engineering Apprenticeship in either mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • Solid experience in Engineering, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in fault finding with process machinery or equivalent equipment.
  • Skills in mechanical fitting, with machining, welding, and fabrication experience being advantageous.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desirable: IEE 17th or 18th edition, advanced Electrical qualification, and knowledge of PLCs.

PRODUCTION LEAD REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!

Do you have experience working with the Food Manufacturing, Food Packaging, FMCG or Manufacturing Industry, and are you looking for a new permanent job?

We are proud to be working with a leading food manufacturing business in Telford to help them recruit a Production Lead on a straight permanent basis, this business are increasing their production capacity by adding in 2 new production lines, and they are looking to hire permanent staff between now and the beginning of September.

This role will be working Monday to Friday (39.5 hours per week), and the role comes with a starting annual salary of £50,000 per annum, which will have the opportunity to rise up to £52,000 per annum after probation.
