We are working with a software technology outsourcing company specializing in digital and ER&D services & automotive, industrial equipment, heavy machinery, and healthcare & Med-Tech industries. One of their clients in the Manchester city centre area are looking for API Technical Author to complete a 6 to 12 month long project in an outside IR35 contract. The day rate is upto £270 per day and the role requires you to be onsite out of their Manchester site once a week.

 

You will be involved in a range of our software products and you will take real ownership of the production and maintenance of the product and user guides, release notes and product enhancements. Working closely with the product, development and support teams to create reference materials to understand features and functionality of the software.The profile of the individual we are looking for must cover most of the below points:

 

• Tech Author / Tech Writer- API Documentation

• Location: Manchester: once in week onsite ideally

• Contract 6 months to 1year

• Experience in API documentation in projects

• Experience of working within an agile methodology

• Relevant technical documentational experience.

We are working with a reputable training and development consultancy based in the Worcestershire area who are looking for a Technical IT Trainer to join their growing team. The role will be a part of a team of 20 trainers based out of their Worcestershire Head office with blended in home working and will include UK wide travel.

As a IT Trainer you will be introduced to businesses to qualify their training needs across Infrastructure, Networking, Sharepoint, Power BI, Cyber Security, SQL Server etc. To then create and deliver a training plan / assessment to the relevant IT teams. The organisation partner with businesses across both private and public sectors including:Defence, Healthcare and Central Government.

Applicants won't be expected to be experts across all these IT areas and necessary training will be provided to upskill / plug any gaps. You can either be a Technical Instructor who needs upskilling in technologies or someone who understands the tech and has a passion for teaching who we can develop into an amazing instructor. The successful candidate will deliver on average for 3 out of every 4 weeks. When overnight travel for on-site training is required, all reasonable expenses are paid by the organisation.

The Key Responsibilities are:

  • Partnering with business to identify training needs
  • Creating a Training plan to deliver to the organisations IT teams in class sizes of 12 - 16
  • Delivering onsite or remote training to a high standard showcasing best practice
  • In some cases preparing the class for examination

We are looking for applicants to have the below requirements criteria:

Good working knowledge of at least one of:

  • IP networking
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware)
  • Cisco
  • Windows and other operating systems
  • Power BI
  • Cyber

Can demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter who is confident to take on a training role and develop training and technical skills

Qualifications in Microsoft Server, Cisco, VMware, or CompTIA are desirable

Some experience of delivering training is advantageous, but full OJT and a ‘train the trainer course’ will also be provided for the right person

A willingness to contribute to course development

As a Joining Engineer, you will direct and manage a line builder to complete all feasibility testing for all joining technologies prior to the start of commissioning.

In your first few weeks in this Joining Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Monitor and report process designer for all relevant joining technologies (adhesive, rivet, EJOT, EJOWELD/ARPLAS and welding) allocations
  • Ensure documentation required is available and Process Designer is updated with the latest parameters and feedback from technology testing/reviews
  • Raise and track and liaise with PD concerning deviations
  • Lead line builders to achieve weld expulsion, adhesive bead optimisation and adhesive bead expulsion levels that do not contaminate tooling and joining equipment
  • Support activities and ensure administration tasks have been completed

  • A thorough understanding of adhesive, Tucker/Henrob self-piercing riveting and Bosch/Matuschek Resistance welding systems
  • Experience reviewing buy-off events for adhesive DAB and teardown
  • Expertise in Teardown analysis for Riveting and Resistance welding and previous experience in Joining technologies with development and implementation experience
  • Previous experience in Joining technologies with development and implementation experience. 
  • Technical background in Joining Technologies working at a technical level with ANY of the following technologies, GTAW, GMAW, LASER, Self-Piercing Riveting, Resistance Spot Welding, Friction Stir Welding applications, Adhesive, Flow drive screw applications.
  • Experience of resolving key constraints and demonstrate improvements through root cause analysis.
  • Experience of specifying and installing new equipment
  • Understanding of vision systems (Coherix, ISRA etc.) and its integration with PLC

Position Description:

The Release and Follow Up department manage parts portfolio and associated Supply Base to ensure parts are available to meet build requirements within Operational F.T.T. / Inventory and Budget targets.

Working as part of a team of Supply Chain Specialists, you will be responsible for areas including the following:

  • Tune base scheduling data to support current business requirements effectively and ensure resulting schedules are issued to suppliers on a timely basis
  • Optimise scheduling parameters within material planning systems
  • Check the integrity of schedules and ensure the frequency of issues support supply base and business requirements
  • Procurement of pre and volume requirements and run-out parts, including management of New Parts for Model Year and Running Change requirements (48hr turnaround)
  • Monitor/control and report parts delivery per schedule parameters

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be a member of a team dedicated to the efficient production of high-quality products under the direction of the Engineering line owner.

In your first few weeks in the Maintenance Engineer role, you can expect to:
