Electrical Design Engineer

An Electrical Design Engineer is required to join an established and growing company with a strong reputation in the coatings and treatments sector. The successful candidate will be joining to assist in the development of machines and machinery accessories to the highest standards, transitioning new designs in to manufacturing teams and on to customer sites. Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer will include the following: Producing electrical designs and working with the engineering department including mechanical, automation and R&D to improve existing products and the development of new machines. Prototype development including detailed design through to final validation. Ensuring all designs meet electrical safety requirements and standards. Assisting other departments including R & D, Service & Support and Manufacturing throughout the development and production processes . Instrumentation Engineer/Scientist - Permanent - Technology Development - Abingdon An Instrumentation Engineer/Scientist is required with knowledge of developing monitoring and diagnostics equipment. Candidates with experience of working within high technological environments would be well received. Due to continued growth this company, a technology driven organisation requires a visionary and inspiring Instrumentation Engineer/Scientist for a new permanent role. As an Instrumentation Engineer/Scientist you will be required to: Explore new concepts, but also support the businesses technology development. Identify variables that need controlling or observing and resourcefully develop practical means of controlling or observing them. Install and develop sensors and controls in a way that is sensitive to the ongoing needs of the project. Analyse sensor data and communicate results with the team, in such a way as to add value to the development work. The Instrumentation Engineer/Scientist should have the following skills or experience: Ideally a degree in a related science or engineering discipline, but other qualifications will also be considered. Development experience, demonstrating application of the required qualities and skill Technically adept with experience in physics, technology or material science. Engineering Technician - electro-mechanical testing

A Engineering Technician with hands on mechanical or electrical skills is required for an established consultancy business providing engineering support for electrical and mechanical equipment. Full training will be provided The role of Engineering Technician will include a variety of hands on testing and customer technical support to include many of the following: Interpreting technical specifications and to provide a written report outlining changes needed to ensure product compliance. Testing electrical and mechanical products to ensure conformity using the latest test equipment (full training will be provided). Visit customers to look at electro-mechanical equipment and provide on-site advice to ensure products meets the required specification. Take incoming calls and provide remote assistance to customers. Every aspect of the role will be comprehensively taught. The basic requirements needed for this role of Engineering Technician include: Good literacy skills Ability to extrapolate information from a written report or technical drawing. Mechanical or electrical engineering background is essential (time served or graduate) Technical qualification in Engineering such as City and Guilds, NVQ, HNC or HND is highly desirable. The Project Manager will deliver on a £6m + Engineering Development Project and will Manage a multifunctional team of up to 20 Engineers and Technicians, over more than one site. The Project Manager ensure contract deliveries through the management of engineers in an IPT environment.
