Lead Quality Engineer

What You Will Do:

• Define, implement and maintain the quality management system framework and governance arrangements.
• Embed customer, regulatory, AS/EN9100 and IATF 16949 requirements into business processes.
• Lead and improve internal audits, and support external audit activity with confidence and clarity.
• Drive document control and manage changes to the management system to keep standards effective and current.
• Analyse process performance data to identify root causes, remove friction, and promote sustainable improvement.
• Collaborate across HSE and IT to align and develop an integrated management system approach.

What You Will Bring:

• A degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or a related discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, with AS9100 and/or IATF 16949 experience as a real advantage.
• Proven experience developing management systems in a manufacturing environment, including process mapping, risk assessment and effective process control.
• Qualified internal auditor experience, with lead auditor qualification being highly desirable.
• Practical understanding of automotive core tools such as APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA and PPAP.
