Production Shift Manager

A large food manufacturer are seeking a Night Shift Production Shift Manager to join and lead a team of around one hundred on shift. Shift Pattern- Sunday to Thursday 21.30pm to 06.30am 

What You Will Do:

- Lead and manage a diverse team of Team Leaders and colleagues within your section, ensuring smooth operations and high performance.

- Oversee and uphold food safety, health and safety, and quality standards within your section.

- Act as the key contact for customer visits and audits, ensuring effective planning and delivery.

- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes and achieve business objectives.

- Monitor operational performance through structured line-side reviews and escalate issues as needed.

- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your designated areas.

What You Will Bring:

- Proven experience as a Section Manager or Team Leader in a production or manufacturing environment.

- Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives and manage change effectively.

- Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.

- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
