What You Will Do:
- Manage and nurture existing customer accounts, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Provide technical sales support, including quotations, specifications, and feasibility assessments.
- Translate customer briefs into clear, production-ready documentation.
- Oversee projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines, specifications, and quality standards are met.
- Liaise with overseas factories to coordinate production planning, sampling, and approvals.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support material sourcing and process improvements.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience in technical sales, account management, or project management within packaging, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of bespoke or luxury products and production processes.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness and a solution-focused mindset to address challenges effectively.
- Familiarity with overseas factories, particularly in China, and knowledge of sustainable materials or luxury packaging.
This role is integral to the company's mission of reducing plastic in consumer packaging and encouraging reuse and recycling. By combining customer account management, technical sales, and production coordination, the Technical Sales Manager will play a vital role in delivering innovative, sustainable packaging solutions while ensuring operational efficiency.
Location:
This position is based in our head office in Worcester, which offers excellent connectivity to areas around the Midlands. We would envisage that suitable candidates need to live within 1.5 hours away to be able to get to our office and be successful in a hybrid capacity.
