Business Development Executive (B2B Sales)
£28,000 – £31,000 + Bonus
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, onsite in Telford

This is a high-energy Business Development Executive role for someone who thrives on outbound B2B sales, relationship building, and turning opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships.
You’ll take ownership of expanding existing accounts and winning new business nationwide, working with well-known brands, organisations, and institutions. If you’re commercially driven, confident on the phone, and motivated by targets and bonuses — this role gives you the platform to scale fast.
Key Responsibilities (Business Development & Sales)
- Proactively generate new B2B business through cold calling, lead generation, referrals, and networking
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM systems
- Grow revenue by winning, formalising, and developing commercial accounts
- Deliver against sales targets and growth objectives
- Conduct nationwide customer meetings and site visits
- Develop and implement territory and account development plans
- Respond to inbound sales enquiries from marketing and customer support teams
- Maintain excellent customer relationships with a consultative sales approach
- Gather and share market intelligence and customer feedback
- Attend or host relevant industry events and promotional activities
About You
You’ll succeed in this role if you are:
- Experienced in outbound B2B sales / business development
- Confident in cold calling, prospecting, and closing deals
- Target-driven with a proven track record of sales success
- Comfortable managing the full sales cycle
- A strong communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated by growth and bonuses
- Organised, IT-literate, and confident using CRM systems
- Happy to travel nationwide for customer meetings if required
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment
