What You Will Do:

 

- Manage end-to-end monthly and weekly payroll processing for approximately 115 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.

- Handle statutory payments, including holiday, sickness, and maternity/paternity pay, and process starters and leavers effectively.

- Conduct HMRC submissions, reconciliations, and year-end processes, including P11D assessments for employee benefits.

- Maintain payroll records and systems, including Sage Payroll and Sage HR, and prepare monthly reporting and provisions for accounts.

- Provide HR support by coordinating recruitment processes, managing employee relationships, and assisting with policy updates and capability investigations.

- Act as a point of contact for employee benefits, developing new offerings and ensuring smooth communication.

 

What You Will Bring:

 

- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager, ideally within a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME).

- Exceptional IT skills, particularly in Excel, and familiarity with HR systems; Sage 50 Payroll experience is advantageous.

- Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with a practical and logical approach to problem-solving.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.

- Self-motivation and confidence to work independently while contributing to the company's goals.
