What You Will Do:
- Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team, setting SMART objectives while providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and output by identifying and executing action plans to meet or exceed targets.
- Collaborate with product design, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product launches and process transfers.
- Oversee the definition, development, and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation for manufacturing.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimise processes and reduce costs.
- Manage departmental budgets, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and generate capital expenditure requests to support strategic objectives.
