Production & Operations Manager

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of textiles for a wide range of applications. As a Production & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, lead continuous improvement projects and ensuring that production targets are achieved.
Production & Operations Manager Responsibilities:
– Lead, plan and coordinate daily production activities
– Managing production orders, staffing resources and operation priorities
– Ensure that production machinery is running at optimum efficiency
– Work closely with the management team
– Identify and manage continuous improvement activities
– Motivate the Production Team to achieve targets
Production & Operations Manager Requirements:
– Experienced working in either a production, manufacturing or operational management environment
– Experienced in managing a production team
– Experience working within textiles manufacturing would be advantageous
– Must be a team player
– Knowledge of lean manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies
