Are you an experienced sourcing professional looking to make a real impact? This business is expanding their supplier network across the US and Mexico and need a Sourcing Specialist who can drive results from strategy to execution. This is your chance to lead sourcing initiatives, shape supply chains, and play a key role in supporting aftermarket growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead sourcing strategies across multiple commodities and ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Identify, evaluate, and approve new suppliers while negotiating agreements that deliver value.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure supplier capabilities meet specifications.
- Manage supplier performance and implement improvement plans to drive consistency and excellence.
- Mitigate supply chain risks and apply lean problem-solving to create measurable improvements.
- Handle operational procurement tasks including order placement, expediting, and quality issue resolution.
- Travel domestically (with occasional international trips) to strengthen supplier relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing, qualification, and performance management.
- Strong technical understanding of machined and fabricated components.
- Knowledge across multiple commodities: machined parts, fabrications, transmission products, electronics, and linear drive systems.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.
- Familiarity with US and EU business regulations.
- High integrity and professional ethics.
