BOM Engineering Release Specialist – 37306651 – £29.97/hr umbrella rate (inside IR35)
Step into an exciting contract opportunity as an Engineering Release Specialist and play a pivotal role in keeping the engineering supply chain moving. If accuracy, clear communication, and problem-solving in the automotive engineering environment are your strengths, this Engineering Release Specialist position is built for you, you’ll join the Release Operations team responsible for creating, releasing, and maintaining Bills of Materials (BoMs) that support vehicle build quality across car lines and plants.
What You Will Do:
– Interpret and analyse documents and discussions with CoC Engineers to ensure timely and accurate BoM release across the wider business.
– Apply in-depth knowledge of part usage and logic to correctly code parts, supporting scheduling and successful build outcomes.
– Act as a focal point at commodity level for customers and suppliers, helping drive accurate and on-time BoM release.
– Manage multiple tasks and competing demands to support programme timing, key project dates, and departmental targets.
– Support Early BoM, file set-up and validation events, helping maintain smooth engineering operations.
– Contribute to local process improvement and provide cover for colleagues where required to keep delivery on track.
