As a Quality Engineer, you will help strengthen assurance across mission-critical supply chains in the electronics and electro-mechanical sectors, supporting accredited processes and customer confidence. What You Will Do:
Maintain and support the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure it remains effective and compliant.
Plan and carry out internal, external, and product and process audits, then track outcomes to completion.
Liaise with customers and vendors to resolve performance concerns and drive sustained improvements.
Lead and manage quality improvement projects, using structured problem-solving approaches such as 5 Whys and 8D.
Compile First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9102 requirements.
Raise, process, and close Corrective Action Requests (CARs), ensuring actions are completed and verified.
What You Will Bring:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality role, with confidence across investigations, audits, and corrective actions.
Strong problem-solving skills, ideally with experience using 5 Whys, 8D or similar methodologies.
Practical understanding of auditing and process control, with clear communication and presentation ability.
Familiarity with GD&T and mechanical drawings is beneficial.
Knowledge of AS9100/AS9120 is advantageous, along with exposure to PFMEA, APQP and PPAP, not essential but advantageous.

Location:
The Quality Engineer role is based in Milton Keynes, this is an office based role and therefore you will want to live within a local vicinity.
We cannot offer sponsorship and this is a permanent role, therefore you must have full RTW for the UK please.
