What You Will Do:

 

– Carry out electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.

– Diagnose and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systems, using sound fault-finding techniques.

– Dismantle, repair, replace and test machine components to support optimal performance.

– Perform fabrication and machining tasks, including the use of mills, lathes and pillar drills.

– Maintain accurate records and follow best practice procedures to support continuous improvement.

– Identify and source parts, tools and consumables to meet maintenance and production requirements.

 

What You Will Bring:

 

– Proven experience in an electrical and mechanical maintenance role.

– Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair skills, with confidence working independently or as part of a team.

– Relevant qualification and working knowledge, including the 18th edition BS7671.

– Good working knowledge of pneumatics and mechanical systems, plus practical welding ability.

– Skilled experience in fabrication and manual machining.
