Machine Setter Operator
Location: Telford
Salary: Starting salary of £35,115 per annum (rising to £43,486 once key competency levels are achieved)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – 12-hour rotating shifts (Days & Nights, including weekends)
Are you an experienced Machine Setter Operator looking for a role that offers excellent earning potential, career progression, and the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment?
We’re seeking a proactive and hands-on individual to join a busy production team in Telford, where you’ll be responsible for setting, operating, and optimising machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production machinery to meet production targets
- Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
- Support continuous improvement activities to maximise efficiency
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Machine Setter, Machine Operator, or within a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with automated or semi-automated machinery
- A keen eye for detail and quality
- Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts
