A growing FMCG manufacturer are seeking a Demand Planner to join their planning department, This role is for someone who wants to move from analysis and coordination into full, accountable ownership. You will gain high visibility across Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations, while helping improve forecast quality, inventory control and customer service performance. If strong data, practical problem-solving and continuous improvement are your strengths, the Demand Planner role offers a clear progression path and real influence over planning processes.
Salary £35,000 to £38,500 plus Benefits
What You Will Do:
- Own forecast governance, measurement and continuous improvement for this Demand Planner function.
- Partner with Sales, Production Planning, Material Planning and Procurement to improve planning decisions and outcomes.
- Identify risks to service levels, inventory health and production plans before they impact customers.
- Measure forecast accuracy and forecast bias by customer, SKU and category, then challenge assumptions with recommendations.
- Support S&OP and planning review meetings, producing reporting, analysis and stakeholder-ready insights.
- Improve planning reports, processes and master data, supporting the transition towards full forecast ownership.
What You Will Bring:
- Strong analytical capability, with advanced Excel skills and confidence handling forecasts and performance metrics.
- Experience in Demand Planning, Production Planning, Supply Planning, Supply Chain Analysis or a closely related planning discipline.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving mindset with clear stakeholder communication.
- Familiarity with ERP planning systems such as SAP, Sage, Dynamics or similar (experience is preferred, not essential).
- A willingness to learn and develop as the Demand Planner role matures into full ownership of forecast generation.

This Demand Planner role is based in the UK, working with cross-functional stakeholders across Head Office and planning teams.
