FLT Counterbalance Driver
Are you an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver seeking a new job opportunity, are you happy working 12 hour days or night shifts and do you hold an ITSSAR or RTITB or Brittop accredited license that is currently within 3 or 5 years?!
We are actively seeking several FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a leading food manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.
The shift pattern available is as followed:
- Thursday, Friday & Saturday (and every other Sunday) – 12 hour day shifts – £13.31ph
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (and every other Saturday)- 12hr night shifts- £15.13ph
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (and every other Saturday)- 12hr night shifts- £15.13ph
The Role:
As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will:
- Operate a Counterbalance FLT/Combi truck safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and move stock between storage and dispatch areas.
- Store goods in designated locations and support warehouse operations.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or damage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and obstruction-free working environment.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid accredited Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 months’ experience operating a Counterbalance FLT or Combi truck.
- Previous warehouse experience in a busy environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and a dependable attitude.
- Right to work in the UK.
