Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a role that offers excellent earning potential, long-term stability, and genuine career progression? Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is seeking a skilled engineer to join their busy maintenance team at their Broomfleet facility.
Location: Broomfleet, East Yorkshire
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)
Salary: £52,000 – £54,000 (DOE)
The Role:
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of the plant. Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs using a range of testing equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
- Minimise downtime and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
About You:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering as a minimum.
- Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of electrical motors, drives and pneumatics.
- Committed to health and safety best practice.
- Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- You may currently be working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or Electrical Maintenance Technician.
