Technical Sales Manager
Fully Remote
£65,000 + Company Car Allowance and additional benefits
Our client is a specialist engineering solutions company that focus on electronic system applications across a wide range of industries including defence, aerospace and energy sectors. They are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join their existing senior team, managing the sensor/electronic application projects and drive business growth for the division.
Technical Sales Manager Responsibilities;
– Identify new customers and target markets for the sensor product range
– Follow up and develop new business opportunities with both new and existing clients
– Liaise with key decision makers and provide technical product knowledge
– Successfully negotiate, implement and manage business contracts
– Travel to customer sites and events when required across the UK
– Work to agreed KPIs
– Provide technical support to customers and the wider engineering teams
Technical Sales Manager Requirements
– Educated to degree level in relatable engineering disciplines such as electronic engineering
– Experienced in electronic sensors and electronic engineering applications
– Proven experience working in a technical sales position
– Must be willing to travel to client sites and business expos when required.
– Experienced in business development and identifying growth areas
– Selling products requiring design and manufacture
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
