Do you have experience working in a project or programme environment, looking for a role where your organisation skills and data insight genuinely shape real-world decisions? The Logistics Strategic Studies Engineer position offers a fantastic opportunity to support early product creation phases across multiple UK sites, helping deliver high-quality analysis and preparatory work that enables confident planning. If you enjoy coordinating people, consolidating complex information, and turning uncertainty into clear direction, the Logistics Strategic Studies Engineer role is made for you.

What You Will Do:

● Act as the day-to-day point of contact in GME Logistics for all programme activity in the strategy phase
● Engage technology teams and provide a key interface to support decision-making during the initial creation of manufacturing strategy
● Capture part complexity, type, sequencing assumptions and m3 data from supply chain and programme teams, then summarise latest part fit and packaging proposals
● Confirm alignment with the latest solution design intent
● Prepare intra-logistics strategic impact assessments for programme studies when requested by the Industrial Operations Strategy (IOS) team
● Prepare intra-logistics gateway submissions for the Industrial Operations Programme Delivery (IOPD) team

What You Will Bring:

● Comfort working in dynamic environments where scope and priorities can change at pace

The Logistics Strategic Studies Engineer role sits within the supply chain and production planning space of this company’s wider industrial operations. By coordinating impact assessments, consolidating programme inputs, and managing key information flows between GME Logistics and cross-functional teams, you’ll help strengthen decision-making across the programme environment. Your work supports the kind of precision, accountability and continuous improvement that drives progress in the logistics strategy and industrial delivery process.

Location:

Based in Solihull, with the expectation of being involved in programme activity in support of delivery across UK sites.
