CNC 4 Axis Milling Setter/Operator – Worcester
£27,000 to £34,000 + Double-Day Shift Premium 20% (£32,400 to £40,800)
Earlies: Monday – Friday: 5:30am – 1:30pm Lates: Monday – Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm Friday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm
The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
Due to continued growth and increased production demand, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC 4 Axis Milling Setter/Operator to join the night shift team at their Worcester manufacturing facility.
Job Description
- Setting & Operating Mazak Horizontal Machining Centres.
- Producing a wide & varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
- Understand CNC controls & be able to safely & reliably operate CNC Machining Centres.
- Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health & safety guidelines & rules.
- Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.
Essential Criteria
- Have a solid understanding of operating CNC controlled machines.
- Can demonstrate & have experience of safely using CNC controls.
- Have a can-do attitude.
- Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria
- Understand & improve programs safely.
- Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship/HNC etc.

- Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
