Control Systems Engineer

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of innovative equipment for a variety of industry sectors including aerospace, wind and automotive industry sectors. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing controls software for manufacturing equipment, providing technical support to engineers & customers and managing system projects from initial concept through to delivery.
Control Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
– Designing electrical and control systems for material processing machinery
– Developing design concepts and producing technical drawings.
– Managing system projects from initial concept through to implementation.
– Understand customer specifications and research into solutions to help develop new products.
– Providing technical support to clients and the wider engineering teams.
– Ensure that developed systems are compliant with H&S standards.
– Create programmable logic controllers that meet the agreed technical solution.
Control Systems Engineer Requirements:
– Must be an experienced Control Systems Engineer.
– Proficient with electronic and electrical software.
– Experienced in programming PLCs such as Siemens
– Understanding of composites, material processing and polymer manufacturing would be beneficial.
– Be able to manage system project from initial concept through to delivery.
