Process Engineer

Our client is a well-established manufacturer that designs and manufactures custom products. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing NPI projects from initial concept to final customer approval, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes and assisting with delivering high-quality product output.
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
– Interpret and analyse engineering technical drawings.
– Manage NPI projects from initial concept through to delivery.
– Develop and refine manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency & cost.
– Prepare process documentation such as work instructions, set-up sheets and SOPs
– Evaluate and approve tool designs, ensuring alignment with product specifications.
– Provide technical support for production teams and troubleshooting process related issues.
Process Engineer Requirements:
– Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
– Proved experience in process development and project engineering within a manufacturing industry.
– Proficient in CAD software would be beneficial.
– Experience managing toolmakers and working with external suppliers would be desirable.
– Experienced in problem-solving process related issues.
– Must be a team player.
