Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to take a year out of your HR studies to undertake 12 months internship in the Human Resources department?  Our client is a dynamic and innovative organisation, offering an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Intern – Human Resources.  Your role will play a key part in supporting the HR and Facilities team in delivering excellence across a variety of activities and projects. This role provides a unique chance to gain valuable experience at a global organisation, in a collaborative and inspiring work environment, setting the foundation for your professional growth.

 

What You Will Do:

 

– Assist employees with travel visa applications, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all necessary documents.

– Maintain up-to-date employee records, including travel documents, right-to-work checks, and driving licence checks, while ensuring confidentiality.

– Provide administrative support for training activities and update training records in line with internal processes.

– Support on boarding and off boarding processes, including organising equipment and stationery for new starters.

– Process invoices on behalf of the HR and Facilities team in compliance with internal payment procedures.

– Assist in organising staff events and managing initiatives such as Learn to Ride and Cycle to Work schemes.

 

What You Will Bring:

 

– Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

– A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to various HR projects.

– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

– Basic administrative experience or an interest in Human Resources would be advantageous.

Location/ Qualifying criteria :

 

This role is based on site at Bruntingthorpe and will require you to live locally for the 12 month contract, which may mean you need to relocate for the duration.  You also need to be able to drive and have transport as the site is large and rural and you will not be able to access on foot or by public transport. 

You must be an undergraduate, so in the middle of your HR degree or taking a year out to do a Masters in a year.  

As the role is only open to genuine interns.  

You must have RTW in the UK for the duration of the contract.
