Monday to Thursday – 08:00 -16:30 & Friday 08:00 – 15:00
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke products used within the electrical industry sector for both the UK and globally, and they are seeking a Machine Technician to join their existing team. As a Machine Technician, you will set, calibrate and operate precision production equipment.
Machine Technician Responsibilities
– Working to engineering drawings and production documents.
– Use precision measurement equipment to set equipment accurately.
– Set, calibrate and operate precision measurement equipment.
– Calculate lengths and quantities of materials required for production using Excel and mental arithmetic.
– Support other production activities when required.
Machine Technician Requirements
– Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
– Experienced in operating & setting production machinery
– Apprentice trained and entry level candidates will be considered.
– Experience working with metals would be beneficial.
– Must be able to work to engineering drawings and production documents.
– Must be comfortable in making calculations and using Exsel.
