Facilities Engineer

Umbrella Rate: £27.45/hr (Inside IR35)

What You Will Do:
• Plan, design, and oversee the construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
• Develop and manage budgets and schedules for facility modifications, including estimating costs for equipment, labour, and materials.
• Coordinate building space allocation and layout to optimise efficiency and functionality.
• Oversee communication services and support facilities expansion projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
• Work independently to manage projects and processes while providing coaching and guidance to junior team members.
What You Will Bring:
• Advanced knowledge of facilities engineering, backed by relevant education and professional experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of tackling difficult and sometimes complex challenges.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
