What You Will Do:
– Lead and drive the integration of new technologies into vehicle architectures, ensuring compatibility with strategic goals and functional targets.
– Act as the technical arbitrator, delivering engineering solutions for the whole vehicle and aligning with cross-functional teams.
– Collaborate closely with the Vehicle Attribute Robustness team to ensure embedded design quality, service, and manufacturing requirements.
– Oversee data progression, including CAD, DV, AIMS, Build, Test, and Releasing, while maintaining alignment with team leads.
– Resolve cross-group obstacles, ensuring timely escalation of technical blockers to leadership teams.
– Support Agile spike activities and studies to tackle complex engineering challenges.
What You Will Bring:
– Extensive automotive technical knowledge and experience in analysing and resolving complex engineering interactions.
– Proven ability to lead technical teams and solve challenges using structured approaches such as 8D or Six Sigma.
– Strong project management skills, delivering against technical programme objectives.
– Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
– A passion for innovation and a progressive mindset, embracing Agile principles and industry developments.
