What You Will Do:
– Lead and oversee the integration and delivery of engineering across the entire vehicle, ensuring alignment with technical strategies and functional targets.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the delivery of embedded design quality, service, and manufacturing requirements.
– Manage vehicle technical data progression, including CAD, DV, AIMS, Build, Test, and Releasing, working closely with team leads.
– Resolve cross-group obstacles and escalate technical blockers promptly to ensure seamless programme delivery.
– Support study and Agile spike activities to solve complex engineering challenges efficiently.
– Act as the technical arbitrator, driving functional and attribute target delivery while addressing customer needs.
What You Will Bring:
– Proven experience in automotive engineering with a deep understanding of vehicle systems and component design.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
– Exceptional problem-solving abilities, using structured approaches like 8D or Six Sigma.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
