Vehicle Integration Engineer (Accessories) – 37098047 – £27.30/hr umbrella rate

What You Will Do:
– Lead the integration of new technologies within vehicle architectures, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility with established strategies and targets.
– Act as the technical arbitrator, driving functional and attribute target delivery while representing the voice of the customer.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical data progression, including CAD, testing, and releasing.
– Oversee the delivery of Minimum Viable Product into both virtual and physical verification stages throughout the programme lifecycle.
– Resolve technical obstacles and escalate issues to leadership teams as necessary, ensuring timely solutions.
– Support study and Agile spike activities to address complex engineering challenges with innovative approaches.
What You Will Bring:
– Extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a deep understanding of vehicle systems and component design.
– Strong technical analysis and decision-making skills, capable of interrogating and validating technical standards.
– Proven ability to lead teams and resolve complex technical issues using structured methodologies such as 8D or Six Sigma.
– Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
– A proactive and resilient mindset, with the ability to champion Agile principles and deliver exceptional results.
