Logistics Coordinator (European)

What You Will Do:
• Manage customer enquiries and orders via phone and email, ensuring they are accurately loaded onto the system.
• Book and track shipments, liaising with suppliers to coordinate transport effectively.
• Provide customers with quotations, updates on job progress, and exceptional service.
• Close out job files by obtaining necessary documentation such as PODs and scanning them onto the system.
• Review routes and suppliers to maximise cost efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, accounts, and the warehouse, to ensure smooth processes and clear communication.
What You Will Bring:
• A solid understanding of the transport and freight forwarding industry; European planning experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Proficiency in using MS Office, email, spreadsheets, and databases.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks and resolve issues effectively.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to remain focused under pressure.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll contribute to the company’s success by ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across borders, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Your ability to manage priorities, escalate issues when needed, and maintain accurate system data will be key to achieving outstanding results.
Location and Working Hours:
This role is fully based on site in Redditch, with occasional travel to Customer and Supplier sites. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (40 hours per week).
