What You Will Do:
– Develop detailed 2D and 3D design drawings, fabrication specifications, and bills of materials for high-security structures.
– Interpret complex project requirements and security standards to deliver compliant, practical, and buildable engineering solutions.
– Support tender submissions by providing technical drawings, design concepts, and expert engineering input.
– Collaborate with production teams to optimise designs for efficient manufacturing, seamless installation, and long-term performance.
– Conduct site surveys to assess feasibility and identify any design constraints.
– Ensure all designs adhere to rigorous standards while meeting client-specific security needs.
What You Will Bring:
– A degree or HND in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
– Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
– A strong understanding of structural principles and steelwork design.
– Experience in producing detailed design drawings and fabrication specifications.
– Excellent problem-solving skills, with a solutions-focused and practical approach to overcoming challenges.
