Powertrain Integration Engineer – 37015688 – £33.99/hr (Umbrella Rate – Inside IR35)

What You Will Do:
– Lead the development of a strategic approach to powertrain integration, aligning key technologies between motorsport and passenger car applications.
– Manage technical projects, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for shared commodity strategies and advancing technology readiness.
– Integrate motorsport-led powertrain activities into agile structures, using Formula E as a platform for emerging technology maturation.
– Facilitate cross-functional workshops to define collaborative work packages, including roles, responsibilities, and timing.
– Develop and manage robust collaborative programmes aligned with the Technology Development Framework, ensuring smooth project handovers and tracking key milestones.
– Report regularly to senior stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and performance metrics.
What You Will Bring:
– Proven experience in mechanical or automotive engineering, with a focus on electrified powertrains.
– Strong knowledge of BEV propulsion systems, system integration, and technology roadmaps.
– Experience with project management tools such as Confluence and JIRA, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and multiple priorities.
– A passion for motorsport and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
