What You Will Do:
• Design and develop new or existing products, components, or assemblies, ensuring they meet customer technical and functional specifications.
• Apply engineering principles to create mechanical, electronic, or chemical products that align with manufacturing cost and efficiency requirements.
• Conduct mathematical modelling to assess the technical feasibility of proposed designs.
• Support and participate in the design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes.
• Contribute to the development of product-specific manufacturing production processes and equipment.
• Manage projects and processes independently, while coaching and reviewing the work of junior professionals.
What You Will Bring:
• Proven experience in product design engineering or research and development roles.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and mathematical modelling techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex projects with limited supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capability to address difficult and complex challenges.
• A proactive approach to mentoring and supporting team members.
