Logistics Specialist – 36836218 – £27.30/hr (Umbrella Rate) (Inside IR35)

What You Will Do:
– Ensure delivery promises are accurately entered within one week of receipt to maintain operational efficiency.
– Coordinate the timely receipt of 87% of parts for the first car of each schedule by the MRD deadline, ensuring seamless prototype builds.
– Prevent build stoppages and Point of Fit losses for all prototype builds, excluding VB scenarios.
– Arrange on-time shipping collections for prototype parts, prioritising cost-efficient transport modes.
– Negotiate delivery dates with suppliers to support multiple prototype production builds for new products and battery production.
– Collaborate with internal tool rooms and 3D printing operations to secure production slots aligned with prototype build requirements.
What You Will Bring:
– Proven ability to perform under pressure, maintaining accuracy and focus.
– Strong negotiation skills to secure delivery commitments and production slots.
– Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate programme delivery status to senior management.
– Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to manage and report on logistics activities.
– GCSE-level education or above, demonstrating a solid foundation for this challenging role.
