Geometry Integration Lead Engineer – 36851557 – £33.99/hr (Umbrella Rate) (Inside IR35)

What You Will Do:
– Lead the geometric integration of components within the Closures and Exteriors group, ensuring systems and features are seamlessly incorporated into the vehicle.
– Develop and deliver packaging proposals optimised for weight, cost, and customer experience.
– Conduct CAD studies to ensure geometric targets and standards are met or exceeded.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical conflicts and support system integration.
– Assist in delivering high-quality, clash-free geometry while adhering to strict timing constraints.
– Protect space in the vehicle for future technologies and features, ensuring adherence to package-owned standards.
What You Will Bring:
– Proven experience in product design within at least one functional area.
– Proficiency in CATIA V6 for packaging design and geometric integration.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage issues effectively.
– Excellent communication skills, including presentation, written, and verbal abilities.
– A well-rounded knowledge of vehicle types, propulsion systems, and subsystems.
