Technical Sales Engineer
Malvern
Up to £40,000 – Dependant on experience.
Our client is a specialist manufacturer of customer parts and products for a wide range of sectors including construction and the medical industry sectors. They are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their existing team.
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will work with new and existing businesses to gather client technical specifications, provide technical support, provided product information, generate new business opportunities and work to agreed sales targets.
Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities
- Work with new and existing businesses.
- Understand client’s specifications and provide them with technical product information.
- Generate and follow up on leads and quotes.
- Work with the Production and Engineering teams to ensure that the products meet the clients’ exact specifications.
- Provide technical support to clients throughout the sales process.
- Work to and exceed company sales targets.
Technical Sales Engineer Requirements
- Must possess strong negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and sales databases.
- Previous experience in a Technical Sales position would be advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
