Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical expertise? Do you enjoy problem-solving, keeping machinery running smoothly, and working as part of a supportive team? We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing facility.
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a range of machinery and equipment across the site. From preventative maintenance to emergency breakdown response, you will play a vital role in ensuring operations remain safe, reliable, and efficient.
What You Will Be Doing
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and resolving issues efficiently.
- Conducting inspections to identify potential problems before they impact production.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.
- Working with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Upholding health and safety standards at all times.
What You Will Bring
- At least three years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including experience with schematics and control systems.
- Confidence in independent problem-solving, combined with a collaborative approach.
- Clear communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- A driving licence is preferred but not essential.
