What You Will Do:
- Assemble mechanical sub-systems such as frames, chassis structures, brackets, housings, and drivetrain components.
- Install mechanical fixings, including bolts, inserts, rivets, and threaded fasteners, ensuring they meet torque and specification requirements.
- Perform accurate alignment, adjustment, and calibration of moving parts to guarantee smooth operation.
- Read, interpret, and work from mechanical drawings, exploded diagrams, and build instructions.
- Conduct mechanical checks, including alignment tests, torque verification, and tolerance inspections.
- Collaborate with electro-mechanical technicians and production teams to ensure efficient workflow and provide feedback on potential improvements.
What You Will Bring:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, manufacturing, or a related engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Proficiency with hand tools, mechanical measurement tools such as calipers and torque wrenches, and basic workshop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to working effectively within a team.
